I made my breakfast (ham and cheese toast) a night before to save time in the morning. And I like my orange juice ๐ŸŠtoo. 

Lunch

I brought my beef sandwich to work. The frozen bread are thraw by the time I ate my lunch. Simply put the sliced beed, sliced tomato (I cut it at home), corn relish (in tube). 

My husband didn't eat the lunch I prepared for him ๐Ÿ˜•

Dinner

We went out for Chinese dinner with family to have a early celebration of Chinese New Year.

To prepare the Oat, you add milk and microwave according to the instruction of the Oat package.



๐Ÿ’ญThe Almond & Vanilla Oats tasty good. It is sweet enough so no need to add sugar/ honey. 

Lunch

๐Ÿ’ญPasta bake is tasty. The melted cheese on top makes the dish more attractive. The yogurt is also pretty fancy with all the cranberries & toasted coconut as garnish.
๐Ÿ’ญThe roll is a bit too tiny to fit all the ingredient - chicken tender & spinach. It is not bad.

Dinner

This is some special for tonight dinner. Not frozen meals but a gourmet salads.  
According to the website, these gourmet salads choices Only available in QLD. ๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†๐Ÿ†

On the ordering pages, in the confirmation emails and on each salad boxes, there are notifications to remind us to consume the salad within 5 days from the delivery day. We ate ours on our fourth day. 

We ordered:

Both salads are still fresh, with elements of veggies, meats and crunchy. They are a pretty good options on a hot summer night.
๐Ÿ’ญFor the lamb salad, we served the lamb chilled but you can warm the meat up as per instruction written on the box. It comes with a separated toasted nuts package and a tube of spiced yoghurt dressing. 
๐Ÿ’ญFor the smoked salmon salad, it is a asian style slaw with salmon flakes. It comes withe a separated crispy noodles with nuts and a tube of sweet soy & sesame dressing.

Lite n' Easy DAY 3

Breakfast

One fancy breakfast revealed this morning.

Unpack the breakfast bags. Yon can find the instruction to cook the egg benedict.
In order to maintain the easy life experience, I will use the micirowave pot to cook the egg instead of cooking a perfect poach egg in the pot.

๐Ÿ’ญIf you are a foodie, this egg benedict may somehow disappoint you. If you think about you are having a strict diet, this hot breakfast with egg and bacon will be enjoyable.

๐Ÿ’ญSalad is fresh even the greens sit in the fridge for 3 days. Good dressing too
๐Ÿ’ญI love soup so this is great for me. It is not very sour. However, I have to butter my breadroll because of my habit. I would recommend them to provide the small tube of butter. Hope the nutritionist is agreed.

Dinner

๐Ÿด We ordered pizza ๐Ÿ•with our parent instead of the frozen meal. The only difficult part to stick for this 7 days meal plan could coping with your social life. We think we shall order the 5 days meal plan to allow flexibility to eat out.

Lite n' Easy DAY 2

Breakfast

Get the first hand experience from DAY 1. We can smooth up the whole meal preparation. Today breakfast are:

Toasted Fruit Muffin with Butter and Strawberry Jam

  1. Beef Nachos with Fresh Tomato Salsa and melted Cheese

Quite a lot of components when I lay out everything. The beef nachos comes with a small instruction telling you how to prepare it.

Very cute that when I find a card teaching you how to cut that little cucumber. I didn't follow the instruction cutting it into 4 wedges ๐Ÿ˜

๐Ÿ’ญ Beef nachos is quite tasty. It smells so good when mircowaving. The tomato salsa ia fresh too. 
๐Ÿ’ญ No surprise for tuna wrap. 

Dinner

Today dinners are: 

(Left) Roast Chicken with Mushroom sauce
(Right) Beef Korms
๐Ÿ’ญ Chicken breast is used in the roast chicken, with tasty mushroom sauce (with real mushroom in it). Roast potatoes is good too. 
๐Ÿ’ญ The beef korms is mild spicy. I love the yellow rice which mixed the peas and cauliflower cubes. 


Summary

Compare the frozen meals we usually busy from supermarkets, these frozen dinners are pretty good. Veggies are fresh. You don't feel like eating fake meat. Simple seasoning that allows you to add extra bit of salt and pepper. Right amount of sauce on the food and over-supplied to make everything soaky. It is definitely 5 out of 5 stars dinner.

Lite n' Easy DAY 1

Our very first meal for the entire subscription. ๐Ÿ‘€

Breakfast

Get Day 1 Breakfast bags from the fridge.
Don't forget to get few items, e.g Bacon and breads from the freezer, Frozen items are indicated as BOLD RED in the meal.

Our breakfast are:
  1. Bacon and Egg Mayo on a toasted Multigrain Muffin
    Fresh Fruit cup
  2. Nut Cluster Crunch with skim milk
    Wholemeal & Seed Toast ๐Ÿžwith Butter and Vegemite
    Orange ๐ŸŠ

Every ingredients are packed individually. Even butter and vegemite are in small package size. The only thing supplied by us is the skim milk for the cluster crunch. No worries.

Follow the instruction to cook the bacon - microwave for 1:20 minutes. Easy.


According the the 'Get Start' booklet, it is suggested to separate the food and the meal throughout the day. So we spare the fruits later.

Lunch

  1. Sliced Chicken Breast with Thai Salad and Hoisin Dressing

    Cashews & Cranberries
  2. Smokehouse Ham, Tomato, Baby Spinach and Mayonnaise on a Grain Roll

Chicken breast is cooked. We can consumed as chill or microwave for 30 seconds ⏳. 

Both are simple.
๐Ÿ’ญFor the bread roll, slice the tomato, put the ham and spinach, add mayo. DONE.
๐Ÿ’ญFor the salad, open the package salad, put the chicken on top, add the dressing. DONE.



Finished our main. We did not feel the need to eat the fruit or snack now. We end up eating them after dinner. 

Dinner

Out of our 14 boxes of dinner, we picked these for today:



Both are frozen meals. Peel the lid for 3 cm and put the whole box in microwave for 8 to 9 minutes⏳. (Their suggested microwave is 1100W, but ours is 900W so that takes extra 1:30 minutes⏳). 

Both meals have the meats, potatoes and large portion of veggies. Beef is in chunky pieces while the chicken breast is in one piece. Seasoning with a little bit of pepper and salt.

Summary

Our first day with L&E, it is definitely like what the brand describe - light meal and easy to prepare. 
We sort of have 2 hours apart between each meal. Each meals portion look small, but it actually fill your stomach. 
However, we didn't do go to the gym or exercises. I guess you will feel more hungry and need a next size up meal plan if you exercises.

Day 0 - Lite n' Easy Delivery Day

We picked Monday PM delivery. 2 big eskies were delivered after 7pm. They are sealed with dry ice packs to keep foods cold.

We chose the 7 Days Full Meal Plan for 2 people. All breakfast, lunch and dinner will be stored in the fridge. We tried to finish most food in our fridge to free up as much space as possible before the delivery. However, I still under-estimate how many food there are. ๐Ÿ˜Ÿ๐Ÿ˜ŸIt is particularly a challenge for fridge with small freeze space.

There are many foods. ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ๐Ÿ˜ฑ In the eskies, one side is all the food stored refrigerated and the other side is all for frozen.

Both sides have parcels of breakfast, lunch or dinner. Again, I have to emphasise the amount of food for two people.

For breakfast and lunch, each meal is picked and portioned in a plastic bag with clear wordings on the cover e.g. DAY 1 - Breakfast. In total, there are 28 bags (2 meals per days x 7 days x 2 people).
