Lite n' Easy DAY 1

Our very first meal for the entire subscription. πŸ‘€

Breakfast

Get Day 1 Breakfast bags from the fridge.
Don't forget to get few items, e.g Bacon and breads from the freezer, Frozen items are indicated as BOLD RED in the meal.
Breakfast bags














Our breakfast are:
  1. Bacon and Egg Mayo on a toasted Multigrain Muffin
    Fresh Fruit cup
  2. Nut Cluster Crunch with skim milk
    Wholemeal & Seed Toast 🍞with Butter and Vegemite
    Orange 🍊
Unpack the breakfast bags
Every ingredients are packed individually. Even butter and vegemite are in small package size. The only thing supplied by us is the skim milk for the cluster crunch. No worries.

Follow the instruction to cook the bacon - microwave for 1:20 minutes. Easy.


According the the 'Get Start' booklet, it is suggested to separate the food and the meal throughout the day. So we spare the fruits later.

Lunch

  1. Sliced Chicken Breast with Thai Salad and Hoisin Dressing
    Peach & Pear Cup
    Cashews & Cranberries
  2. Smokehouse Ham, Tomato, Baby Spinach and Mayonnaise on a Grain Roll
    Green Apple 🍏
    Light Fruit Cake 
Unpack the lunch bag
Chicken breast is cooked. We can consumed as chill or microwave for 30 seconds ⏳. 

Both are simple.
πŸ’­For the bread roll, slice the tomato, put the ham and spinach, add mayo. DONE.
πŸ’­For the salad, open the package salad, put the chicken on top, add the dressing. DONE.



Finished our main. We did not feel the need to eat the fruit or snack now. We end up eating them after dinner. 

Dinner

Out of our 14 boxes of dinner, we picked these for today:



Both are frozen meals. Peel the lid for 3 cm and put the whole box in microwave for 8 to 9 minutes⏳. (Their suggested microwave is 1100W, but ours is 900W so that takes extra 1:30 minutes⏳). 

Both meals have the meats, potatoes and large portion of veggies. Beef is in chunky pieces while the chicken breast is in one piece. Seasoning with a little bit of pepper and salt.

Summary

Our first day with L&E, it is definitely like what the brand describe - light meal and easy to prepare. 
We sort of have 2 hours apart between each meal. Each meals portion look small, but it actually fill your stomach. 
However, we didn't do go to the gym or exercises. I guess you will feel more hungry and need a next size up meal plan if you exercises.
